コルナゴとロッシンの深いつながり
上掲のレコードは83年にスペインのチームZORに供給されたものだ。
各部の造りと部品は、同年に発表された アラベスクに酷似している。この事が、ロッシンとコルナゴが水面下で繋がっていた事実を表している。
斬新なエアロシェイプのシートポスト
アラベスクと同じデザインだ。ラグ形状も酷似している。
このロッシンを駆ったZORのアルベルト・フェルナンデスは、この年のジロ・デ・イタリアで、
エルネストの秘蔵っ子ジュゼッペ・サロンニと対決する。
結果はサロンニが優勝、アルベルトは三位と惜敗。
陰ながら行われた師弟対決に、二人はニヤリとしたに違いない。

The Deep Connection Between Colnago and Rossin
The Record shown above was supplied to the Spanish team ZOR in 1983.
The construction and components of each part closely resemble the Arabesque released in the same year. This reveals the fact that Rossin and Colnago were connected behind the scenes.
Innovative Aero-Shaped Seatpost
It shares the same design as the Arabesque. The lug shapes are also strikingly similar.
Riding this Rossin, Alberto Fernández of ZOR competed against Ernesto's favorite, Giuseppe Saronni, in that year's Giro d'Italia.
In the end, Saronni won, and Alberto narrowly lost, finishing in third place.
The two must have grinned at this master-student showdown taking place behind the scenes.
