Since there are few cafes and vending machines along the main highways, you&#39;re forced to get water at Repsol service stations. Today, after getting a terrible flat tire in Manzanares, I took shelter at a nearby Repsol, where the staff kindly took it upon themselves to arrange everything from the nearest bike shop to a place for me to stay. The inn is right in front of the bike shop, an old inn boasting a history of around 200 years? Truth be told, I intended to head as far south as possible after fixing the flat, but I gave in to the staff member&#39;s local pride and stayed the night. I thoroughly demonstrated the classic Japanese trait of not being able to say &quot;no&quot; (lol). Apparently, Manzanares is a historic landmark dating back to the Middle Ages and a famous producer of Manchego cheese. I don&#39;t know much about it, but anyway, I was treated to delicious cheese, drank ice-cold beer, and collapsed onto the bed slightly tipsy.
