Excluding the rest day in Granada, it worked out to about 100 kilometers a day. 100 kilometers might not sound like much, but along the way there were flat tires, mechanical troubles, and the Camino (the pilgrimage trail, which is very rough)\u2014at times there was no road at all, so I even had to carry my bike on my back. For the return trip, it took only 6 hours from Motril to Madrid by highway bus. It was easy, but left me with mixed feelings. Still, I am glad I returned safely without any accidents.
