The 2022 Tour de France, which kicked off in Denmark for the first time in history, ended in dramatic fashion with Denmark's Jonas Vingegaard taking the victory. The maillot jaune changed hands rapidly in a thrilling, heart-pounding race right up to the very end. Vingegaard's aggressive riding truly inspired us all. The staff at the Royal Danish Embassy, who supported JVR, must have also been thrilled by this magnificent achievement. Standing near the podium, Vingegaard's daughter holding a stuffed lion added a lovely touch to the joy of the occasion.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the Tour de France, the September issue of Bicycle Club, which featured the Denmark start on July 2nd and the JVR event, is now on sale and well received.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the French Embassy who provided great support in making this event happen, to Minister Nicolas Tillier for his wonderful speech, and to world-renowned sports journalist Mr. Florent Dabadie.<\/p>\n

Mr. Dabadie, also known as a former interpreter for Manager Troussier and a tennis Grand Slam commentator, covered the Tour this time as a journalist for French public broadcasting. He brought great excitement to the 109th Tour de France from his unique perspective.<\/p>\n

After the parade, a Tour de France report by Mr. Dabadie and a TDF-related quiz with wonderful prizes for the winners were held at the Danish Embassy. Following that, the Danish Embassy opened its grounds to host a cycle flea market. Public viewings of the TDF took place from July 1st to 3rd, making it three days fully immersed in the Tour de France.<\/p>\n

We also received a wonderful gift from Mr. Dabadie, which we are already using at CorsaCorsa as a valuable reference for bicycle history. Recently, the ways to enjoy vintage bikes have diversified, and customizing 90s bikes has become exceptionally popular.<\/p>\n
