A spring time filled with history and cherry blossoms \u2013 Sakura Tweed Ride 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The departure and arrival point is a historical symbol of Tsuchiura City\u300c\u4e80\u57ce\u516c\u5712 - Kijo Park\u300d<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. This park is a part of the former Honmaru and Ninomaru of Tsuchiura Castle, and is the only surviving castle in Ibaraki Prefecture that was built in the Muromachi era. It is also known as one of the prefecture's most famous cherry blossom viewing spots, and the elegant Yoshino cherry trees that stand out against the castle are impressive, making it a cherry blossom viewing spot worthy of the name Sakura Ride. Challenge missions at cherry blossom viewing spots!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ride that interests me is the orienteering style photo rally ride. There are two routes (\u30ed\u30f3\u30b0\u30eb\u30fc\u30c8 Long Route<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>&\u30b7\u30e7\u30fc\u30c8\u30eb\u30fc\u30c8 Short Route<\/mark><\/a>), take a photo of the given mission at each photo spot, and present it to the staff at the goal to receive a wonderful completion award. In addition, those who post on Instagram with the designated hashtag will be entered into a lottery to win a special gift from Tsuchiura City!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sakura Tweed Ride is a mystery ride packed with excitement.Each rider should useRWGPS<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>or GOOGLE MAP to head to each photo spot on their own. Whether you're nervous because you get lost, nervous because you don't understand the mission, or enjoy a mystery ride aiming for the completion prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sakura Ride is a long ride of 61.9 km with a gain of 314 m, a short ride of 37.7 km, a total gain of 206 m, a total distance of 62.1 km, an elevation gain of 315 m, and a gradient of only 0.5%, making it almost flat. This is a gentle course that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to veterans. It can also be comfortably enjoyed on Pennyfarthing and Cambio Corsa.
